How to connect Mercury in four steps
Step 1: In Mercury, open All Settings › Tokens and create a Read Only API token. Only Mercury admins can create one.
Step 2: Copy the token. It starts with
secret-token:mercury_, and Mercury shows it only once.Step 3: In Accountable, open Connections, press Connect an account, pick Mercury and paste the token.

Mercury deletes tokens left unused for 45 days, and daily syncs keep ours alive
Mercury deletes an API token that goes unused for 45 days. Accountable syncs every day, so the token stays in use. If someone deletes it in Mercury, the connection shows Broken; create a new read-only token and press Reconnect, and nothing already posted changes.
Mercury's own accounting tools and Accountable do different jobs

Can Accountable move money in my Mercury account?
No. The token is read-only, so it can read balances and transactions but cannot send, move or spend money.
Does it work with several Mercury accounts or several companies?
