Archive a company you no longer run

An owner can archive a company from Settings › Company. Its books become read-only and nothing is deleted; unarchive it any time.

Steps

Step 1: Open Settings › Company and scroll to Ownership and access.
Step 2: Press Archive company and confirm.
Step 3: The company moves under Show N archived in the switcher. Its books stay readable and exportable.
Step 4: To bring it back, open it and press Unarchive.

Good to know

Export its books first if you're handing them to someone: see Export everything.
