Close your account and delete your data
Ask Melinda or email privacy@accountable.im to close your account. Data is deleted from live systems within 30 days and from backups within 35 days.

Steps
Step 1: Export anything you want to keep first: see Export everything.
Step 2: Open the Help menu, choose Chat with support and ask to close your account, or email privacy@accountable.im.
Step 3: We confirm it's you and which companies to delete.
Step 4: Your data is deleted from live systems within 30 days and expires from backups within 35 days.
Good to know
- Billing records are kept for about 7 years, as the law requires.
- To stop using one company without deleting it, archive it.
