Connect Claude to your books

Steps

   Step 1: In Claude, open Settings › Connectors and choose Add custom connector.

   Step 2: Paste https://accountable.im/mcp and choose Add.

   Step 3: Accountable's sign-in page opens. Sign in if you aren't already.

   Step 4: On the consent screen, pick Which companies: All my companies, or Only these and tick them.

   Step 5: Under What it can do (the screen names your app), pick Guardrails (the default), Full control or Read only.

   Step 6: Press Allow.

   Step 7: Back in Claude, turn the Accountable connector on in a chat and ask about your books.

Claude Code

Run claude mcp add --transport http accountable https://accountable.im/mcp in your terminal. Claude Code opens Accountable's sign-in page the first time it connects.
