Choose what an agent may change: Guardrails or Full control
Guardrails applies an agent's changes at once but holds big entries, reopening months and anything sent outside the company for you. Full control applies everything your role allows.

Steps
Step 1: Pick the level on the consent screen when you connect, under What it can do.
Step 2: To change it later, open Settings › AI and agents, click the connection under Connections, and choose under What this agent may do on its own.
Step 3: Pick one of four levels (below) and close the panel.
The four levels
- Guardrails (the default): changes apply at once. Entries over your owner's limit, reopening a month and sending outside the company wait for you.
- Full control: everything your role allows applies at once, judged as your own change. Every change is logged and can be undone.
- Every change waits for approval: nothing changes until you approve it in Accountable.
- Read only: it can read the books but not change them.
Good to know
- An agent can never do more than the person who connected it.
