Connect Cursor to your books

Steps

   Step 1: Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json (create it if it doesn't exist) and add {"mcpServers":{"accountable":{"url":"https://accountable.im/mcp"}}}.

   Step 2: Restart Cursor or reload its MCP servers.

   Step 3: Accountable's sign-in page opens. Sign in if you aren't already.

   Step 4: On the consent screen, pick Which companies: All my companies, or Only these and tick them.

   Step 5: Under What it can do (the screen names your app), pick Guardrails (the default), Full control or Read only.

   Step 6: Press Allow.

   Step 7: Ask Cursor's agent about your books, or to build on your numbers.
