Ask questions and approve changes

Ask anything about your books and get an answer with its sources. Changes wait for your approval and can be undone.

  1. Ask Accountable AI about your booksPress ⌘J and ask in your own words, like “Why did burn change last month?”. Every answer shows its sources, and any change it suggests waits for you.
  2. Approve or reject a proposed changeChanges from Accountable AI, agents or teammates that need a second look wait in Approvals. Open one to see why, then press Approve, Reject or Edit.
  3. Decide what needs approvalOn Approvals › Rules, an owner sets which changes apply at once and which wait, separately for people, Accountable AI and agents, with amount limits.
  4. Let Accountable AI make some changes without askingAlways allow lets Accountable AI apply one kind of change for you without asking, like categorizing. It's per person and per company, and every change can still be undone.
  5. Undo a changeEvery change in Accountable can be undone: press Undo in the toast or ⌘Z right away, or find it later in Accounting › Activity or Approvals › Applied automatically.
